About Us
- Affiliated to the University of Mumbai, Rizvi College of Engineering started offering computer engineering in the year 2008 with an intake of 60.
- The department focuses on producing best quality IT professionals by imparting quality training, hands on experience and value education.
- The department has a team of experienced and competent faculties to train students not only with textual and practical knowledge but also with exposing them with ever growing technology.
- We have well established laboratories for conducting practicals related to the core courses of the department and other important interdisciplinary courses. The classrooms and laboratories have well equipped environment with audio-visual facilities.
- The students are guided for real time projects on research areas like cloud computing, image processing, data mining, security etc.Regular workshops are also conducted on platforms like ethical hacking, android, embedded systems, robotics, and cyber security.

My experience in the Rizvi College of Engineering was brilliant. I feel I have attained a strong foundation in Computer Science which has equipped me with the skills to learn any emerging technologies including Machine Learning and AI. I had many professors in the college who inspired me and have helped me greatly. Dr Varsha Shah, Prof. Shiburaj Pappu, Prof. Sonali Suryawanshi, and Prof. Ali Hussaini just to name a few…have been instrumental in nurturing me as a student and have supported me with my pursuit of research. I am also thankful to my college for providing me with all the support needed in converting my final year project into a Patent Application.
Rizvi College of Engineering has provided me the platform to not only excel on the academic front but has given me immense opportunities to accomplish an overall development through their extra curricular activities. Throughout my four years of graduation, I have received constant support from all the faculties and HOD's for which I'm very obliged. There were a lot of cultural activities that used to happen yearly (namely RAYS) because of this fest we students from all backgrounds could come together along with the faculties and make it a memorable event for all. My final year has been a little more than special as that is the time you realize how these four years have shaped you for the next phase of life. Right from the first year to the placements Rizvi has been very instrumental in my career and to where I am currently working. I would like to sincerely thank everyone from Rizvi who has been part of my journey.
Our Success Stories
First Female General Secretary of Rizvi College of Engineering Sailee is always an example which symbolizes our College’s policies to promote Girls Empowerment and Education. She was an active participant in all the activities of Department and College. Her Sincere, Hard-working and never to give up attitude which enabled her to achieve her dreams. After her Engineering she choose to pursue higher Education. She Completed her M-Tech in Cyber Security systems and Networks and working in good renowned company.
Ahmed Sayed was a creative Student with excellent Problem-Solving capability and Technical Skills. After his engineering he went to Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago for Pursuing his Master’s in Computer Science. He also holds Provisional Patent for “Using Voice Recognition for vehicle identification”. He has won many National & International competitions in his career. He is currently working with Swap Motors as software engineer where he tackles complex problems and develops creative solutions for his Clients.
Arshee Khan was an ambitious and diligent student who would not leave any opportunity to learn and accomplish her objectives. During her Engineering she pursued Internship in LTI and Cloudyboss building her skills in various growing industrial technologies like AngularJS and Blockchain. She is currently working with Tata Consultancy Services as a SAP Hybris Developer and has acquired specialisation on Search Features.
