On August 7, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, the Computer Engineering Department of Rizvi College of Engineering hosted the “QueryCraft – SQL Querying” event in Computer Lab 112. This event provided students with an opportunity to showcase their SQL skills through a series of challenging queries. Participants, drawn from various departments, engaged in solving complex SQL problems, demonstrating their proficiency and problem-solving abilities.
The event commenced promptly, with participants demonstrating their coding abilities in a setting that simulated real-world programming challenges. This environment tested their technical skills, time management, and performance under pressure.
The atmosphere in Lab 112 was charged with intense focus and determination as students worked through a series of queries, covering both fundamental and advanced SQL topics. This approach ensured a comprehensive evaluation of each participant’s proficiency. Faculty members and designated examiners closely monitored the event, assessing submissions based on accuracy, efficiency, and elegance.
The event was efficiently coordinated by Prof. Ramya Kanagaraj. Post-event discussions highlighted the students’ enthusiasm and dedication. Certificates and prizes were awarded to all participants, with special recognition for the top performers. The “QueryCraft – SQL Querying” event successfully provided valuable hands-on experience and highlighted the students’ commitment to mastering SQL querying.
Following the event, discussions highlighted the enthusiasm and dedication of all students involved. Certificates and prizes were awarded to recognize the efforts of participants, with special accolades for the top performers. The “QueryCraft – SQL Querying” event proved to be an excellent opportunity for hands-on learning and demonstrated the strong commitment of 2nd and 3rd-year students to advancing their SQL skills
Activity was well supported by Principal Dr. Varsha Shah and well-coordinated by Dr.Anupam Choudhary, Head of computer engineering department.
