About Us
Civil engineering department is part of Rizvi College of engineering since inception and aims at creating the finest civil engineers who can effectively work in the industry as well as show their innovations in the research field.
It is led by the Head of the department and efficient faculty members who not only teach the topics mentioned in the syllabus with high expertise but also makes the students aware of the current trends in the field.

To transform all aspirants into civil engineers recognized worldwide, with specialization in diverse fields having high technical competencies and desired sophisticated skill set, capable of planning, designing, management and execution of infrastructures taking into account aspects of sustainability including economic, social, environmental factors, fulfilling the needs and dreams of mankind.
Department Mission
- To impart core fundamental principles of engineering and science which will enable the learner to provide solutions to complex problems
related to infrastructure design and developments - To equip the learners with the knowledge of latest software and modern tools and automation practices to enable them to implement fast,
accurate, efficient and sophisticated techniques of planning, design and analysis. - To provide a platform of industry institution interaction encouraging the learners to implement innovative ideas and projects,
leading to novel practices of sustainable development in the diverse fields of civil engineering. - To inculcate moral and ethical values through enriched curriculum amongst the learners enabling them to implement
policies & make decisions that are desirable in engineering practices & research.

Graduating from the Department of Civil Engineering at Rizvi College of Engineering has been a deeply transformative journey that laid the bedrock for my transition into my current role at Cushman & Wakefield. The department’s forward-thinking curriculum—particularly the exposure to modern tools like BIM, ETABS, and value-added courses on high-rise structures—bridged the gap between classroom theory and real-world real estate and construction dynamics. Beyond the technical rigor, the constant encouragement from our expert faculty, paired with enriching industry interactions like the expert seminars by NICMAR and the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) student chapter initiatives, shaped my professional outlook and built my confidence. RCOE doesn't just teach civil engineering; it truly grooms you to be industry-ready from day one, and I am incredibly proud to carry the values of this department into the corporate world.
My journey at Rizvi College of Engineering since joining the B.E. Civil Engineering program in 2023 has been incredibly rewarding, providing a strong platform for both academic excellence and professional growth. Achieving a consistent CGPI of 8.48 throughout the course was deeply supported by the college's rigorous academic environment, which also encouraged me to qualify for the GATE Exam 2026 and publish multiple research papers. Beyond the classroom, participating actively in departmental and inter-collegiate competitions, alongside completing three NPTEL certifications, allowed me to continuously expand my technical horizons. Furthermore, being selected for and successfully completing the prestigious NICMAR SSP at NUCS Hyderabad was a standout opportunity that bridged my academic learning with industry readiness. Rizvi College of Engineering truly excels at fostering an ecosystem where ambition, research, and technical capability thrive.
Aditi Sunil Pardeshi joined Rizvi College of Engineering in the year 2022 for B.E. Civil Engineering. She was our proud Council member leading as Technical Secretary. Organised several departmental, interdisciplinary as well as Inter Collegiate technial competitions inspiring students for innovations and exploring startup careers. As an alumnus of the Civil Engineering Department at Rizvi College of Engineering, I can confidently say that the institution played a pivotal role in shaping my career and entrepreneurial journey.
