About Us
Civil engineering department is part of Rizvi College of engineering since inception and aims at creating the finest civil engineers who can effectively work in the industry as well as show their innovations in the research field.
It is led by the Head of the department and efficient faculty members who not only teach the topics mentioned in the syllabus with high expertise but also makes the students aware of the current trends in the field.

- The well-equipped Civil Engineering laboratories with state of the art facilities , modern equipment for investigating concrete characterstics.
- Softwares such as Staad Pro, Etabs, Building Information Modelling.
- Instrumentation for water quality assessment and waste-water characterization, soil characterization.

Mohammed Anees Patka joined Rizvi college of engineering in the year 2018 for B.E in Civil Engineering and had a CGPI 9.89 throughout the course. He was an active participant in college events like sports, paper structure competition, Rays. He published a research paper on “AERO Leaf Wind Turbine” with the help civil engineering faculties. Attempted GATE 2021 and secured an All India rank 379 out of 1,15,000 students.
Nainesh is a proud alumni of Rizvi College of Engineering, who turned his disability into his strength because of the constant encouragement he got from the College. This student had a spine problem due to which he found it difficult to sit in the classroom. The college ensured his comfort by making special provision of allocating spacious seat to him in the classroom and making special arrangement for him during the exams. Nainesh cleared his Bachelor’s degree with flying colors and is now pursuing his Master’s degree from the University of Auckland.
