Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC)
About IIC
The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) at Rizvi College of Engineering, Mumbai is established under the initiative of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), Government of India, to systematically foster a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and intellectual property awareness among students and faculty.
The primary objective of the IIC is to encourage students to develop innovative ideas, promote startup culture, and support research, design thinking, and problem-solving abilities. The council organizes various activities such as innovation challenges, workshops, seminars, internships, startup mentoring sessions, and intellectual property rights (IPR) awareness programs to nurture creativity and entrepreneurial mindset within the institution.
Through these initiatives, the IIC aims to create an ecosystem that supports innovation, collaboration with industry, and development of technology-driven solutions addressing societal and industrial challenges.
